At 36, Loulou lives a carefree life between a job as a sales clerk in an Indian store and her relationship with her ten-year-old son Alex, for whom she shares custody with her ex-partner. While the latter has rebuilt a stable home, Loulou struggles to make ends meet and doesn't know how to be a "normal" mother.
